Proof & Creative

Standards for project photography, claims, calls to action, and the proof A-Grade will add as real work accumulates.

Proof & Creative

A-Grade is building a new, independent public record. The launch site should show what the company offers without implying that reference imagery, another entity's history, or an unsupported counter is A-Grade proof.

Current Image Baseline

The “Selected Work” assets include stock-library identifiers and generic download names, including:

  • Depositphotos_18427975_ds_Easy-Resize.com_.jpg
  • Depositphotos_49110413_ds.jpg
  • Depositphotos_22939676_ds_Easy-Resize.com_.jpg
  • Depositphotos_65501541_ds_Easy-Resize.com_.jpg
  • kitchen-3689932_1280.jpg
  • bathroom-3689922_1280.jpg
  • beautiful-kitchen-remodel-PXK3MB8_Easy-Resize.com_.jpg
  • new-kitchen-and-diningroom-remodel-PFCAE6A_Easy-Resize.com_.jpg

We will treat these as reference or stock imagery, not A-Grade job photos. They may not carry labels such as “Spaces We've Renewed,” project names, towns, timelines, or captions that imply A-Grade completed the work.

Hide the portfolio and project carousel in the launch state. Service pages may use clearly illustrative images if the design needs them, but the page and alt text must not present those images as project evidence.

We will publish a smaller real gallery rather than fill empty slots. The gallery returns when A-Grade has permissioned photos of its own completed work and enough context to caption them accurately.

Capture Standard for Every Job

Assign one person to capture the same record at walk-through, active work, and closeout.

Project record

  • Client and property permission status.
  • Town and property or unit type.
  • Existing condition and selected work package.
  • Notice, walk-through, start, substantial-completion, and handoff dates.
  • Original scope, approved changes, and material delays.
  • Final inspection status and where the photo set was delivered.
  • A direct client quote or review only when permission is documented.

Photo set

  • Before and after from the same angles.
  • One full-room view that explains the layout.
  • Cabinet fronts, hardware, interiors, and finish transitions.
  • Tile layout, grout, edges, waterproofing milestones where appropriate, and finished details.
  • Fixtures, punch-list corrections, and final-clean condition.
  • A simple vertical set suitable for LinkedIn and Instagram.

Remove personal information, keys, access codes, unit numbers, faces, license plates, and property-management screens before publication. An owner can remain anonymous while the town, unit type, scope, and verified schedule stay useful.

Case Study Standard

A public case study needs:

  1. Town and property or unit type.
  2. The starting condition and buyer's objective.
  3. The selected scope and exclusions.
  4. The actual project sequence and dates.
  5. Material or access constraints and approved changes.
  6. Before and after photos from the real job.
  7. Final inspection and photo-handoff method.
  8. A result such as calendar days, vacancy impact, or rent outcome only when project records support it.

Illustrative scenarios stay labeled as examples. They must not be formatted like completed A-Grade projects.

Claims and Counter Policy

The homepage and About page currently contain 320+, 92%, “18 years,” and an 18-day average. These are not verified A-Grade achievements and remain hidden unless the company can provide a substantiation record.

For any project count, capture:

  • The exact definition of a “space” or “project.”
  • The A-Grade entity whose work is counted.
  • The source records and date range.
  • Included property and scope types.
  • A reproducible total as of a stated date.

For any repeat-client percentage, capture the numerator, denominator, period, and definition of “repeat.” For any duration, define the start event, stop event, eligible scopes, exclusions, and number of completed jobs in the calculation.

The 18-day unit-renewal process may be presented as the process we sell once its scope and schedule rules are written. Until completed A-Grade jobs establish a track record, use language such as “an 18-day renewal plan for qualifying units,” not “our average turnaround” or “proven in 320 spaces.”

Individual team experience can appear in a bio when it is accurate and approved. It does not become company history automatically.

Inquiry and CTA Standard

The current click-to-call link is useful and should remain prominent. The form should qualify the request without becoming burdensome.

Required fields

  • Full name.
  • Phone.
  • Email.
  • Buyer type: property manager, homeowner, or GC/builder.
  • City or project location.
  • Service needed.
  • Target start or completion date.
  • Message or scope summary.

Conditional fields

  • Unit count and unit type for property managers.
  • Occupied or vacant status.
  • Property or portfolio name, when the buyer can share it.
  • How the buyer heard about A-Grade.

The implementation also needs server-side delivery, validation, spam protection, accessible labels, a privacy notice, success and error states, and a measurable completion event. Test that submissions reach [email protected]; do not infer delivery from the presence of a button.

Route the follow-up by buyer type. A PM should receive the turnover scope and vendor-document path. A homeowner should receive the cabinet/tile discovery path. A GC should receive the finish and punch-list capability path.

Publish business hours and a response-time expectation only after the team assigns ownership and can meet it consistently.

Trust and Sales Assets

Vendor packet

  • Current legal entity details.
  • W-9.
  • COI and workers' compensation documentation, if applicable and current.
  • Confirmed licenses or municipal registrations.
  • Sample scope and change-order format.
  • Sample invoice structure.
  • Real before/after set.
  • Contact owner and verified response standard.

Property-manager one-pager

  • The qualifying 18-day process and clock definition.
  • Studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom scope options when operations has approved them.
  • Inspection and photo-handoff standard.
  • One project contact and coordinated invoicing model.
  • Three real photos and a link to the PM landing page.

GC capability sheet

  • Tile, cabinet, finish, and punch-list capabilities.
  • Coverage, schedule, and crew availability only when confirmed.
  • Insurance and closeout process.
  • One direct operations contact.

Do not publish “licensed,” “insured,” “warrantied,” or association badges until the applicable documents are current and belong to A-Grade Contracting.

Social and Video

LinkedIn comes first for PMs, owners, regional managers, and GCs. Instagram comes second as a proof stream. Facebook is optional for homeowner work. Remove Behance and every href="#" destination.

Useful posts show real progress:

  • Same-angle before and after.
  • A cabinet-door, hardware, tile-layout, or finish decision.
  • A dated walk-through-to-handoff sequence.
  • A closeout checklist or photo-report example.
  • A short explanation of when refacing is a better fit than replacement.

Do not post stock as completed A-Grade work. Paid and retargeting creative must use real project media and verified claims.

The existing cinematic hero can remain part of the brand experience after its performance pass. A short real-unit walkthrough with the scope, sequence, and handoff will become stronger sales proof than another general mood film.

Established-State Readiness

The fuller proof design can open when we have:

  • A permissioned library of A-Grade projects.
  • At least one complete case study.
  • A documented 18-day process and qualifying scope.
  • A working inquiry and response path.
  • Current vendor and trust documents.
  • Real profiles and an ethical review-request process.
  • Analytics for calls and successful forms.

Until then, the Site Launch State remains the honest public standard.
